Libraries
At Temple Beth El, we proudly maintain both a Children’s Library and an Adult’s Library. Together, these multimedia resource centers serve our congregation and the community-at-large by:
- Preserving the rich literature of the Jewish people
- Providing an environment conducive to study, thought, and contemplation
- Supplying materials for research, supplemental, and recreational reading
- Promoting independent study and individualized instruction
- Offering educational programs that encourage learning and an interest in our Jewish heritage
- Preparing exhibits/displays to complement our Temple’s programming
Children's Library
Our Children's Library is open on Sunday mornings during Religious School. Books are available for every age level and cover such topics as: the holidays, bible stories, life cycle events, bibliographies about famous Jewish people, and stories about the experiences of Jewish children and families. Students who are in second grade or older may check out books for a two-week period; parents may check out books for their younger children.
