Israel is the homeland of our people and there is good reason to think that its existence is in danger from annihilation from the surrounding Arab countries. At the same time, Israel has treated it’s Palestinian residents and neighbors in questionable ways in an effort to create a secure state. This evening is an opportunity to learn more about the complicated issues Israel is dealing with and how we might think about them in light of the wisdom of our Jewish tradition.
